About Feline Fixers
Our History
- It started with $100 inside an anonymous letter. The typed note provided an address where '4 cats need help.' It turned out that 24 cats were there, needing help. It was a cat colony, without adequate food cat or shelter, breeding out of control. A few compassionate folks got together to fund and facilitate spay and neuter surgeries for all of them. We provided food and cat shelters - and Feline Fixers was born.
Our Mission
- Within one year, an average fertile female cat will produce 24 kittens. At that rate, neighborhoods are rapidly overrun by cats without food, exposed to brutal outdoor elements, suffering and sick. The Shelters, overfull and out of space, are forced to either turn cats away or euthanize them. Feline Fixers provide free cat spay and neuter surgeries, as well as support services for community cat colonies.

- Feline Fixers operates through the generosity of a caring community. We thank the local veterinarians who provide cat spay and neuter surgeries at discounted rates. Our local Humane Shelter is invaluable in providing support services. We're grateful beyond measure to our volunteers and donors, whose help prevents untold misery for cats on the street.
